This is the first exhibition of Martin Kippenberger in Cahiers d'Art, composed of 10 works from 1987 to 1990.

Inge Mahn - Sculptures from 1976 to 2015

With sculptures from 1976 to 2015, the exhibition follows the publication of Inge Mahn work and a text by Robert Fleck in the Cahiers d'Art N°1-2, 2013.

Cahiers d'Art is pleased to present the first exhibition of Thomas Schütte in its gallery space.

The exhibition follows the presentation of the book Watercolors for Robert Walser and Donald Young, conceived by the German artist and published by Cahiers d'Art and presented for the first time on the occasion of Art Basel 2014.

Hiroshi Sugimoto

Cahiers d'Art celebrated its 100th issue of the Cahiers d'Art revue since its beginnings in 1926, with Hiroshi Sugimoto.

On the occasion of the release of this 100th issue, Cahiers d'Art presented an exhibition of a selection of Sugimoto’s photographs from his latest and unreleased “Pre-Photography Time-Recording Devices” and “Early Modern” series at its Paris gallery space and published exclusively in the revue.

Rosemarie Trockel

Cahiers d’Art is pleased to present a special exhibition of Trockel’s work in our gallery spaces in Paris, on view from March 28 -May 24, 2014.

The exhibition features fifteen mixed media works, including the artists latest works made from stretched black yarn. In these black monochrome works, the yarn material is placed like a stroke of the brush on the canvas.

Trockel stands apart among contemporary artists working today through her deep engagement with materials and her unique use of these materials in unconventional ways. In other examples of work in this exhibition, the artist combines ceramic-like materials, such as Acrystal with Plexiglass, together with pieces of crystal. Trockels combination of materials as disparate as casts of meat, digital prints and crystal dislodge the materials from their usual meanings.

Philippe Parreno : Drawings

Cahiers d'Art was pleased to present an exhibition of Philippe Parreno, one of the most original figures in the international art world.

This presentation included more than thirty recent drawings by the artist as well as recent photographs from a performance he conducted with a colony of Magellanic penguins on a beach in Patagonia. A second exhibition at 15 rue du Dragon included a dozen master drawings (Francisco de Goya, Victor Hugo, Wassily Kandinsky, Ad Reinhardt, Richard Case, Liam Gillick , Matthew Barney, Koo Jeong-A and John Cage).

On the occasion of the launch of the book Calder by Matter, Cahiers d’Art has presented an exhibition of over thirty works by Calder, including mobiles, stabiles, bronzes, decorative objects, and gouaches, as well as a selection of photographs by Herbert Matter.
